About Imperial Chimney Sweepers

Imperial Chimney Sweepers is a family-run chimney and venting company based in DeKalb, Illinois. Chuck Lee grew up on his father’s chimney crew, learned the trade from the firebox up, and took over the business in 1987. More than three decades later he still runs it as owner and team leader — and still shows up on the job.

When you call Imperial, you don’t reach a national call center or get handed to a subcontractor. You get our own trained technicians, the same crew Chuck leads every day. That’s how we keep the work consistent and the standard high, job after job.

We inspect first, then sweep

Every visit starts with a camera inspection, so we know the real condition of your chimney before we touch it. You see what we see, and we recommend only what your chimney actually needs — never invented repairs or pressure to over-buy. It’s the way we’d want our own family’s chimney handled.

Insured, bonded, and held to NFPA 211

Imperial Chimney Sweepers is fully insured and bonded, and we perform every job to NFPA 211 standards — the national standard for chimneys, fireplaces and vents. It’s the baseline we’ve worked to since day one.
